Happy New Year!

I  had to write a few words to wish you a Happy New Year and offer a few words for 2009!

I know that to expand your horizons you have to be willing to lose sight of the shore, and I also know that change can sometimes feel uncomfortable (and scary!)

Right?

But I also know change is necessary and getting out of your comfort zone is always a good way to expand and evolve…

…And in running an after-Christmas errand, I had an idea:

For Christmas I got a pair of amazing shoes that were a bit too big on me, so I returned to the store to exchange them for a pair that was one size smaller.

However, although I knew I had gotten the correct size, I did notice they were a little snug and worried that they were now too small…

After thinking for a moment, I simply figured that as I wore them in, they would begin to mold to my feet and feel more comfortable, and I realized how this is a great metaphor for life and change.

At first, anything new (new ideas, new ways of thinking, a new job, a new relationship, etc.) will feel good, but foreign, and the fact that it doesn’t ‘fit perfectly’ right away might throw you off or make you doubt if it is right for you.

Don’t be so quick to judge!

If your gut tells you it’s right, but it still feels a little odd, give it time!

Like my new pair of shoes, once I walk and dance a bit in them, they’ll just begin to feel like a part of me. Naturally…organically.

Open yourself to a new life this year…

I wish you much happiness (remember: beauty begins on the inside!) and health for 2009.

You don’t have to look outside yourself for this

Let it all begin with you!

Derma Diva Rosa and I look forward to getting to know you more and working towards the best your skin can be!

Happy New Year!!!

To you skin’s health,

Derma Diva Marcy.

I’m not a pro when it comes to evaluating blogs - and most of what I’ve seen over the years leaves a lot to be desired. But you can take my word for it that your blog is everything they say it is and more! Seriously - nice information. I am so happy to read your blog!
