Most of my girlfriends, faces glowing red, small harsh marks on their face, beam at me stating, “I just had a facial!” No kidding. And, it looks like it hurt(s).Shocked at the abuse most estheticians inflict upon their clients tender skin, I avoided facials like the plague, determined to outlast a temporary flare-up and attempting to scrub dry, scaly skin off myself.Then, for a year I witnessed two friends “grow younger” before my eyes. I squinted at them, “What are you doing, standing on your head?” “No, Marcella” was the quiet, confidential response with a wink. Marcella is a second-generation esthetician and Spanish beauty. One look at her glowing, flawless face (yes, I’m talking porcelain here people) and I was convinced she’s a master of her craft. She also owns one of her mother’s tools, one she refuses to “lend back” to her Mom because for 33 years it gave clients unearthly skin tone and works better than any new-fangled instrument on the market. We’re talking family secrets here gang. I’ve fallen asleep on her table beneath her gentle, confident touch as she prefers clients to relax and receive. Black heads: gone, no pain, no red marks. Skin-tone: even (and I’m a freckly Irish girl so that’s saying something). The compliment I receive the most now is that my skin looks ‘dewey’ and I’m 3 years from 40, I think that says something, don’t you? She makes proper product recommendations but never ’sells’ what’s on hand or services, she’s much too much of a lady for that nonsense.
Pardon if I was poetic but Marcella is truly a Skin Artisian.

Honestly, when it came to self pampering I would always opt to spend my money on a massage rather than a facial due to three things:
1. Rarely breaking out, I never thought I needed them.
2. I never left feeling like I noticed an amazing difference.
3. The very few facials (3 to be exact) that I have gotten in my lifetime, two at distinctive day spas and one at a resort spa, were not relaxing and usually irritated my skin the next day, leaving me wishing I had not messed with my skin to begin with.
After my experience last weekend…with Marcella, I have officially changed my mind. AMAZING is all I thought and felt during and after my treatment. I cant tell you what exactly was done on my face, being I chose not to be talked thru each step of my treatment, but basically my face was cleansed, exfoliated, masqued, massaged, extracted (with no use of tools or pain), and left glowing with smoothness and brightness. She addressed all of my concerns after my treatment, suggested some things for me to consider and try and had great manner. My boyfriend who I had treated to his first facial, even said “Wow your skin is glowing”. Yayy!
Now one week later I still feel and see a difference which is the most amazing thing for a non-believer of facials like me. I don’t know what she did but I love it and will definitely be back. I should also add that my boyfriend, who was very apprehensive at first left truly impressed and grateful for such an experience.

I had a mild case of acne and even though it was termed as “mild” I was still very self-conscious about it. I must state that previous to seeing Rosa Cardinal, I had seen a dermatologist numerous times. I was given antibiotics and creams, but never achieved any results. After several visits to Rosa and the introduction of Lymphatic Drainage Massage, my acne was under control. Rosa has also done numerous demonstrations over the years, detailing the new techniques available and the products that are available in the market and worthwhile to use. I Haven’t had a facial in 15 years.. I’ve had spa treatments before… but this facial was heavenly! Showed up on a Monday night after work. It was very quite and tranquil inside. Marcella was very nice, very gentle, and very informative. She consulted with me first and really cared about my issues.
The products were great smelling, the textures were amazing.. there is also a little massaging here and there and Marcella had the exact pressure that I wrote down.
